Janice Richards has served the marketing and communications needs of industry leaders in several fields such as financial services, insurance, manufacturing, and energy distribution. She works directly with company leadership to learn their aspirations and create a strategy that will ensure the mission is preserved, the brand is protected, and the business objectives are achieved.

With National Grid, the largest electric and gas energy provider in New England and New York, she designed a communications program to support major initiatives for the Safety, Health, Environmental Services, and Security business units.

As Manager of Communications & Public Affairs for Holcim (US) Inc., one of the nation’s largest cement manufacturers, Janice designed and managed the company’s communications strategy to promote its brand, support its business performance, and ensure employee engagement.

With Fidelity Investments she was the Marketing Manager for the Fidelity Information Systems Company. She was responsible for marketing the expertise and services of the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology, an in-house technology think tank focused on investigating emerging technology and exploring its business applications.

At John Hancock, Janice designed a communications strategy to support the launch of the company’s service-focused subsidiary. The business was created to ensure world class quality service for the company’s four lines of business. For the subsidiary, she employed change management communications to introduce and support the company’s mission, vision, strategy, and short- and long-term goals.

Janice also served as Marketing Manager for the John Hancock Group Long-Term Care product line, where she was responsible for managing customized marketing campaigns for group clients.

Janice earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations & Communications from Suffolk University in Boston, MA, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She also received a Master of Arts in Business & Organizational Communications from Emerson College in Boston, MA.
